There's a growing excitement in the creative world around writing on vintage typewriters—it's a symbol of embracing or holding onto the analog era. We get it. It’s cool. It’s manual. It’s authentic. It’s genuine.
Here’s the thing: We don’t consider ourselves content providers. We’re artists, craftspeople, and creatives. We’re intentional about what we wear, where we live, and what we do.
We don’t hit play on Spotify and let the algorithm decide what music we’ll listen to. We carefully bookmark our favorite websites and YouTube channels. We curate what we listen to and watch.
You’ll never find clickbait here. And as for SEO… well, we believe in organic growth, word of mouth, and the conscious curation of creative content. These are the conversations we have.
We share this with you because we believe it matters.
Our "vintage typewriter" is HTML and CSS. We respect our readers and audience. We value your time, and we put a lot of thought and effort into everything we produce. We hope it’s inspiring, useful, and maybe even thought-provoking.
We’ll always painstakingly type out the code on our mechanical keyboards, struggling to achieve the aesthetic we want within the basic constraints of HTML and CSS. It’s hard at times. And every time we post, we manually update all the links.
We’re always on the lookout for cool, valuable things. Everything we review or describe is something we personally own and use.
Why? Because if you take the time to read this, we’ll take the time to code it. Just like a manual typewriter author has to think intentionally about every word they type, so do we.
